COSMOGEN merges with PYC

Cosmetics packaging manufacturer Cosmogen has merged with dispensing packaging specialist manufacturer PYC. The company will operate under the Cosmogen name.

With the merger, Cosmogen will add a turnkey line of spray and airless bottles, that is customizable, Ecocert certified and compliant with food standards, to its offer.

The move comes amid recent consolidation in the dispensing market.

Cosmogen president and ceo Priscille Caucé said:

“We have noted the prevalence of Cosmogen’s [awareness] and confidence among the biggest names in cosmetics. It seems relevant to simplify the process for our customers: We now provide them with an expanded and complete offer, a dedicated sales contact, and of course, our technical expertise in application of skincare and make up, to support them fully in their strategy of product development.”

We are convinced that COSMOGEN has a place to take on this dispensing market. However, we do think that having a separate company (PYC), with separate commercial force is not the best option to perform on this market. That’s why we’ve decided to absorb the dispensing activity under “COSMOGEN” in order to BOOST the business quickly
